Jay Nydick is Co-Chief Investment Officer for Prospect Ridge. Prior to the formation of Prospect Ridge, he was a partner at AllianceBernstein (AB) and together with Brahm Cramer, founded its U.S. Real Estate Investments group in 2009 and Commercial Real Estate Debt Group in 2013. Prior to AB, Mr. Nydick served as president of iStar Financial, a leading NYSE-listed commercial real estate company with more than $20 billion in real estate assets under management. There, he was primarily responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing strategic expansion opportunities.

Previously, Mr. Nydick spent 14 years with Goldman Sachs, where he held a variety of senior-level positions, including co-leader of the firm’s Non-Japan Asia Corporate Finance, M&A, and real estate investment banking business; key member of the US Real Estate Investment Banking Group; co-head of the firm’s Lodging and Gaming business; and participant in both the Debt Capital Markets and Derivatives Groups.

He holds a BS in applied economics from Cornell University, where he was a Presidential Scholar; he also studied at the London School of Economics and holds an MBA from Columbia University.
